Danube’s Delta

The Danube’s Delta is located in the south - east of Romania, the place where the Danube flows into the Black Sea. The Danube’s Delta is a relief form created from sand, on a straight soil without any movements of the seas currents. It is characterized by the special flora and fauna.

The surface area of the Danube’s Delta is of 7500 square kilometers, 5800 being on the Romanian territory. The Delta’s climate is special, with few rains, cool summers and winters without very low temperatures but windy. (whirlwind)
